I think most people have failed because of what they preceive internet or affiliate marketing to be. Many think that to make money online is as simple as have a laptop and internet connection so they can just blast their affiliate link on social medias and get sales.
That is the recipe for failure. It is much more technical that that but not too technical for the average Joe to become financially free working online.
To make money online simply I have taken the liberty to break it down into some simple steps.
Steps
1. Buy, borrow or use a friend's computer or a laptop.
2. Get internet connection.
3. Have a blog set up for free using blogger (watch youtube to learn how to have it set up).
4. Learn what a lead capture page or landing page is.
5. Learn what an autoresponder is (watch youtube for that info and autoresponder companies).
6. Learn how to buy ads and set up campaigns. Preferable solo ads for quick profits.
7. find an affiliate offer (youtube affiliate companies) An affiliate is a person who promotes other people's products and services for a commission or a percentage of the sale made.
Never build your online business on free advertising. There is a reason why advertising is a multi-billion dollar industry. If advertising was free there wouldn't be a facebook right now even though your facebook account is free. Big corporations buy ads from social media networks and other companies.
My Recommendation
Find out the best advertising networks and create an account and try to build a relationship with them. They will be your best friends online because that's where all your income will come from. Be sure to ask for a discount on your campaigns each time. And that's how you make money online even though I didn't mention how to put it all together.
Putting it all together
Now you have leaned about an autoresponder, lead capture or landing page to capture visitors email addresses legally. Having a blog created, buying ads to run your campaigns and becoming an affiliate.
How you put it together is what makes the money and it is all done online even though you can promote offline as well.
NB:
First have your blog creates either by yourself or pay somebody to do it for you [outsource it].
Second, get an autoresponder account whichever you choose. I will make no recommendations at this time.
Third, have a lead capture page built either by yourself with youtube tutorials or outsource it.
Forth, connect your lead capture page to you autoresponder because that's where you will store your visitors email addresses so that you can continue marketing to them long after they left your blog, or the offer that is tied into your ad campaigns.
Fifth, buy ads from the companies you researched but be sure to run test ads first. Cheap test ads, like $25-$50 ads to see how well you affiliate offer converts. Reason for this is that you have an idea what works and how well it works to increase your R.O.I (return on investment). Never spend big on your first ad of any affiliate offer. Continue to tweak your ads to increase performance.
Sixth, when you have built your email list, please don't just promote all types of different products to them. If you do that, they won't see any benefits from being on your mailing list which will make them unsubscribe. Always try to help your list. That is your bread basket, your economy, your cash machine. Give them free stuff that will help them make money based on your niche. If you are in the health niche, give them a free course in weight loss because if they lose weight using it, they will definitely buy the next one as a sense of respect or thinking that this other one will be of much higher quality than the free one.
